What can we expect in Fallout Season 2?

Fallout is based on the popular video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios. The first season of Fallout takes place more than 200 years after the Great War in 2077, which forced Earth’s survivors to live underground in vaults. Lucy MacLaine (Ella Purnell) is forced to leave her home, Vault 33, and find her kidnapped father on the surface.

Along with Purnell and Goggins, Fallout stars Aaron Moten as Maximus, Kyle MacLachlan as Hank McClane, Moises Arias as Norm MacLean, and Zelia Mendez-Jones as Dane. One of the big names joining Season 2 is Macaulay Culkin, who will play a “mad genius character.”

The fallout from the series stems from executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, with Nolan directing the first three episodes of the first season. Executive producers Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as writers and co-directors. Additional executive producers include Athena Wickham of Kilter Films, Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios, and James Altman of Bethesda Softworks. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films are producing Fallout in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

Fallout Season 2 does not have a release date. However, Wagner promises that the Fallout creative team is moving quickly to film Season 2.

“We’re going as fast as we can, and we have a lot of heavy lifting from Season 1 that’s already been done,” Wagner said in June. “We have sets, assets and visual effects already done. We’re hitting the ground running on this season. We’ll do everything we can to get Season 2 out as quickly as humanly possible.”

The first season of Fallout, which was released in April, earned 16 Primetime Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. Stream Fallout Season 1 on Prime Video.
