Daisy Ridley’s Cleaner Gets US Release Date, New Photo for Action Movie

Quiver Distribution has set a US release date for Daisy Ridley-Led action movie cleaner. The film is directed by James Bond director Martin Campbell, and written by Simon Utley.

The film distributor has acquired North American rights to the upcoming thriller, which hails from Qwerty Films and Anton. Set in present-day London, Cleaner follows ex-Ridley soldier Joey Locke, who now works in one of the tallest buildings in the UK as a window cleaner. When a group of extremist activists – led by Clive Owen’s character – takes 300 people hostage, Joey must ensure everyone’s safety before it’s too late.

According to the film’s description, Cleaner will focus on a group of extremist activists who have taken over “an energy company’s annual gala, taking 300 hostage in order to expose the corruption of the hosts.
