The BIA’s quickly titled Hot 97 interview, which testified, has been completed Bianca The artist speaks at length about her much-discussed issues with Cardi B, and Cardi herself took part in an extended X Spaces session.
While Cardi doesn’t appear to be mentioning the BIA’s name directly in her recent comments, hearing deeper into this article, it’s clear who and what she’s addressing. Early in the session, Cardi took fans “back to last year,” calling 2024 “the year of beef.” In Cardi’s opinion, this led some of her fellow artists (or “little bitches,” as Cardi puts it) to believe that she could be “their target or someone they would hook up with so they could improve their career.”
From there, Cardi referenced the song “Like What (Freestyle),” which has been mentioned several times amid fan discussion about her feud with the BIA. In fact, BIA herself mentioned that she and Cardi riffed on Missy Elliott’s “She’s a Bitch” during her interview with Hot 97.
“After we resolve that conversation on the phone, the ‘Enough’ music video comes out and then you start subscribing to me again because in your delusional mind you think I copied one of the contents of your music video,” said Cardi, who later noted that actual ownership of the aforementioned Macy sample goes to Macy herself. “It’s like, bitch, I told you before. You’re not interesting enough for me to look at. You’re not creative, your music is boring, everything about you is boring. I don’t care about you. You’re annoying me.”
Elsewhere, Cardi seemingly suggested that the BIA was responsible for telling a “very famous and great producer with my ex” that she was cheating on him, a claim that Cardi refuted. Additionally, Cardi told fans that “Whole Lotta Money,” the final BIA record, was initially sent to her.
“You can’t even play with me with this nonsense writing,” she said. “I got a ‘Whole Lotta Money’ record. That shit was sent to me first and I called it a name.”
Later, Cardi announced that the BIA, again without naming her directly and clarifying who she was talking about, had already “lost” her beef.
“I wanted rap beef and I lost,” she said. “Every time these bitches lose, they delete their records. I deleted her shit, the other bitch deleted hers. You can’t mess with me. I’m a real artist, for real.”
Near the end of the X Spaces session, Cardi argued that “nobody cares about that bumbling b*tch” and told fans that she’s been staying “quiet” about some “behind the scenes stuff” related to the feud.
“Stop playing so stupid and innocent… No, you’re not an innocent girl,” Cardi said. “I don’t care how calm you are. You know what you were doing last year. I just thought it would be easy for you to fight with me and things didn’t go the way I expected.”
