In a pair of posts shared on Instagram, 50 Cent used AI technology to reimagine some of his tracks through an old-school R&B style.
Fif, who has been sharing a lot of AI-generated content on Instagram over the past year or so, posted a video featuring an AI-generated photo of himself as a 1950s-era beauty shot. The audio accompanying the image is a spiritual snapshot of him Get rich or die trying Single “21 Questions”.
“Now this shit is hot,” 50 Cent wrote alongside the clip. “I’m using AI on all my unreleased songs, and look what I can give you!”
He followed up the post by sharing an AI-assisted snapshot of himself Massacre Song “God Gave Me a Style”.
“This feels good [too]”, WTF is happening now, this version lets you see my vision. “It’s softer!”
Last month, Joe Rogan shared his reaction to an emotional performance of 50 Cent’s “Many Men (Wish Death),” noting that he was really impressed with the results.
“Did you hear what they were doing with the AI music?” Rogan asked his guest, Carrot Top. “They took 50 Cent’s ‘Many Men’ and made it, like, an emotional song that sounds like it’s from the ’50s or ’60s… It’s not even a real human voice, and it’s cool, dude. It’s good when you go ‘wow’. It’s weird to hear those words with that kind of singing, you know, because it’s like hardcore gangster rap.”
Although impressed, Rogan also noted that “AI is very scary.”
