A Silent Voice Theatrical Rerelease Date Set for Acclaimed Anime Movie

GKIDS announced Silent voice Theatrical re-release dates for the popular coming-of-age anime film for 2016. Since its debut, the film has received positive reviews from critics. It currently holds a Tomatometer rating of 95% Rotten tomatoes.

When is the theatrical re-release date for A Silent Voice?

“A Silent Voice” will officially return to U.S. theaters nationwide on December 15 and 16. The film is directed by Naoko Yamada from a screenplay written by Violet Evergarden’s Reiko Yoshida. This comes ahead of Yamada’s upcoming anime film The Colors Inside, which is expected to premiere in the US on January 24, 2025.

Featured are the voices of Miyu Irino as Shoya, Saori Hayami as Shoko, Aoi Yūki as Yuzuru, Kensho Ono as Tomohiro, Yūki Kaneko as Naoka, Yui Ishikawa as Miyoko, Megumi Han as Miki Kawai, and Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Satoshi , and more. The film was produced by Kyoto Animation, based on Yoshitoki Shima’s manga of the same name. It was executive produced by Hideaki Hata, Susumu Okinaka, and Osamu Ueshiba, with Toshio Iizuka, Kensuke Tateishi, Mikio Uitsuki, and Nagaharu Ohashi as producers.
