Speaking with The Washington Post, Coppola revealed that he plans to move to London soon to begin work on his next project, Glimpses of the Moon. Although not much is known about the project, Coppola describes it as a “weird 1930s-style musical.” The film is based on Edith Wharton’s 1922 novel of the same name.

While it is not known exactly how closely the film adheres to the book, the novel explores various concepts including marriage in the United States, and was first published in 1922. The book was actually made into a silent film of the same name in 1923. However It is a lost film, which means that the original copy or copy of the film has disappeared or been destroyed.

Coppola has also indicated that he would like to make a film called A Distant Vision, based on Thomas Mann’s 1901 novel Buddenbrooks, which follows three generations of an Italian family and centers around the invention of television. But the director did not provide any update about this project.
