Nearly four years after he was banned from the Las Vegas Strip, rapper Blueface’s ban has been removed although he remains behind bars.

As reported Classthe 28-year-old rapper’s ban from entering the Las Vegas Strip was lifted on Tuesday (October 7) by Clark County Judge Kathleen Delaney. However, the lifting of the ban comes with the condition that he only travels to the Las Vegas Strip for any job purposes. The ban comes while he remains in a California state prison for violating his probation in an unrelated assault case.

Blueface received the ban after being charged with attempted murder for his involvement in a shooting in October 2022. One person was injured in the shooting, and the charges were eventually reduced to battery and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure. He agreed to a plea deal in the case and received three years’ probation, with a two- to five-year suspended sentence if he cooperated with the conditions of his release.

The shooting occurred outside the Euphoric Gentleman’s Club in Las Vegas after he got into an argument with the victim, who said he made a joke at Blueface’s expense. A civil suit was filed against Blueface and he was ordered to pay $13 million in damages to the strip club. The club said its licenses were canceled as a result of the shooting, and it has remained closed since then.

Blueface was previously issued a bench warrant in February 2024 after he violated the terms of his probation, citing a widely circulated video that showed him asking his fiancée to throw punches at a woman he pulled on stage. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail for the violation, but because he was already behind bars for the assault case in California, he got credit for time served.

In his California case, the earliest date for a parole hearing was set for December 2025. In this case, he was on probation for an assault incident in 2021 when he was arrested on a drug possession charge. He was sentenced to four years in prison last year.
