ComingSoon is pleased to premiere an exclusive Lake George clip from Magnet Releasing’s upcoming crime thriller, starring Emmy Award nominee Carrie Coon (The Leftovers, The Gilded Age) and Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire). The film is scheduled to premiere on Friday, December 6, in theaters and online.
“Tasked by gangsters to put an end to Phyllis’s life, Don is unable to pull the trigger, and instead, the two embark on a road trip that evolves into something much more,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Phyllis has designs of her own and suggests to Don a small team-up: joining forces with the goal of stealing all the money from the people who want her dead.”

What happens in the Lake George section?
The video shows Coon’s Phyllis, who has been kidnapped by Whigham’s Don. Phyllis tries to convince Don to let her go in exchange for doubling the amount he would make if he killed her. The cast also includes Max Casella as Harut, Glenn Fleshler as Armin, Ashley Fink as Nadia, Troy Metcalfe as Artie, Joey Oglesby as Nick, Derek Phillips as Corey, and Kerry Safran as Gloria.
Lake George is written and directed by Jeffrey Reiner. The creative team also includes director of photography Todd Campbell and editor Brian Bell. The film was produced by Michael Helman, with Eileen Ellington, Bennett Lubar, Joey Oglesby, David DeGraw Shotwell, and Bernie Stern serving as producers.
