Peaky Blinders Movie Unveils First Look at Barry Keoghan’s Role

Netflix shared the first look at Barry KeoghanMysterious role in the upcoming Peaky Blinders It shows the Saltburn actor driving a truck while wearing a leather jacket and newsboy hat – as in typical Peaky Blinders fashion.

Although Keoghan’s involvement in the film was announced a few months ago, details about his role are still being kept under wraps. It will be directed by Tom Harper, who directed the first season of the hit series.

Series creator Steven Knight has returned to the world of Thomas Shelby as writer and producer of Peaky Blinders. You can check out the newly released image below:

Who else is starring in Peaky Blinders?

Cillian Murphy will return as the iconic Thomas Shelby. Other returning cast members include Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong, Bucky Lee as Johnny Dogs, and Ian Peake as Curly.

In addition to Keoghan, Peaky Blinders newcomers include Rebecca Ferguson (Silo, Doctor Sleep), Tim Roth (Lie to Me, Reservoir Dogs), and Jay Lycurgo (The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself, The Radleys). Netflix has not yet revealed all the details of the character.

Not much is known about the story of Peaky Blinders, but it is expected that it will take place during World War II. The series follows Tommy Shelby, played by Murphy, whose high-ranking position in Birmingham is threatened by Inspector Chester Campbell, who is determined to bring him down.

Murphy and Knight will serve as producers on the project, along with Karen Mandabach and Jay Healy. It will be executive produced by Harper, David Cossey, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren and David Mason.
