DC Studios Sets Release Dates for 2 DCU Movies – Comic Book Movies and Superhero Movie News

Clayface and Dynamic duo Release dates have been confirmed by DC Studios.

Clayface is a new DC movie, written by Mike Flanagan and produced by Matt Reeves and Lane Harris. Meanwhile, Dynamic Duo is an animated film produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures directed by Arthur Mintz and written by Matthew Aldrich.

Warner Bros. announced Now for the official release dates for both films.

What are the release dates for DC Studios’ Clayface and the Dynamic Duo?

Clayface will be released in US theaters on September 11, 2026. Dynamic Duo will then arrive on June 30, 2028. The latter will also be shown in IMAX theaters.

per Delivery timeit was announced earlier this week that DC Studios is moving forward with a Clayface movie. Plot details are still under wraps at this time, though production is expected to begin in early 2025.

Although no casting for Clayface has been officially announced yet, it’s worth noting that Alan Tudyk is voicing the character in Creature Commandos. Gunn has previously said that actors who voice major animated characters in DCU projects will also play those characters in live-action, which is the case for Frank Grillo as he voices Rick Flag Sr. in Creature Commandos and will also appear in the 2025 live-action Superman film.

Additionally, Gunn said that Tudyk will play a live-action character in the DCU. It wasn’t initially clear who he was referring to, as Tudyk has also voiced Doctor Phosphorus and Will Magnus as well as Clayface in Creature Commandos.

Not much is known about the plot of Dynamic Duo at this time other than that it will revolve around Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. Reeves and Harris are also producing this film alongside Teresa Anderson.
