‘Family Matters’ Star Darius McCrary Reportedly Arrested …

Family affairs Star Darius McCrary was reportedly arrested near the US-Mexico border on a felony warrant.

TMZ Reports suggest that the 48-year-old actor, who is best known for playing Eddie Winslow Family affairs From 1989 to 1998, he was taken into custody by U.S. Border Patrol on October 9 on an out-of-state felony charge.

The outlet claims that according to his representative, Anne Barlow, the arrest warrant was issued in Michigan after McCrary missed a court appearance due to failure to pay child support.

McCrary is reportedly being held in a San Diego jail.

The actor’s latest arrest comes after his arrest in 2023 for failing to pay child support for the second time.

On November 27 of that year, McCarry was arrested on a felony charge of failure to pay child support. He has a payment owed of $52,788.04 as of March 19, 2023, court documents revealed.

McCrary initially pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, and the judge set his bond conditions at $13,197.01.

In 2015, McCrary was arrested on a similar charge and had to pay $5,500 in back child support. In 2017, he claimed he only earned $500 and was unable to commit to child support payments at the time.

When his divorce from ex-wife Toni Browner was finalized in 2019 after a two-year battle, McCrary was ordered to pay $1,366 a month in child support.
