I’m from the Midwest so this isn’t our “normal” Sloppy Joe recipe but we found this one to be pretty amazing! Doubled and presented exactly as written. I did this at noon, then transferred it to the slow cooker on low, and then the “keep warm” setting until dinner at 5 p.m. I don’t know if this has a more positive effect on the recipe or if this slow simmer blends the flavors more but it definitely goes with my mom’s version, my childhood memories! -How good that was! Served on lightly buttered bread, with an optional topping of pickles or slices of American cheese. amazing! Going to my must do list again! Thanks molesbecher!
