“You should come to Houston, I expect you to come to a game, and we’re going to go to Texas barbecue when we get out of here,” Durant said, before adding some playful emphasis.
Adams, however, remained unfazed. She reminded Durant that she had attended one of his games last season — a fact he apparently overlooked.
“You can’t even wave,” she joked, closing the invite with a confident smile.
Durant quickly explained, noting that he was injured during that game and only realized she had been in the crowd after watching her show later.
“It’s all good,” he said, brushing off the awkward moment and shifting the conversation toward the upcoming season.
