Strahinja Jokic, the older brother of Nikola Jokic, has been placed on probation for 12 months for an altercation with a fan that occurred at a Denver Nuggets playoff game last year.

TMZ The ruling was reportedly handed down on Friday (October 10) after the NBA star’s brother pleaded guilty to one count of trespassing and one count of disorderly conduct.

The incident that led to the accusation occurred last April during the Nuggets’ 101-99 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Video from the event showed Strahinja Jokic kicking a man, climbing over seats to get to him, and delivering a punch that officials said caused a concussion.

He had initially pleaded not guilty, claiming he threw his fists to defend an elderly person in the stands.

The video also showed Jokic’s third brother, Nemanja, appearing as a backup while his wife held their child and tried to defuse the fight.

This isn’t the first time one of the Jokic brothers has gotten into a fight that was caught on camera: Nikola Jokic was ejected from a 2021 game after shoving the Miami Heat’s Markieff Morris from behind.

The four-time MVP, seven-time All-Star, and Olympic medalist is preparing to play his 11th season in the NBA. The Nuggets start their first regular season game against the Warriors on October 23.
