With 2024 coming to a close, it’s time to look forward to the year ahead for cinema, and more specifically, the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. The full slate of featured films and series has been announced at the latest edition of the largest independent film festival in the US, where 93 are scheduled to participate A title in each category. Spanning the festival circuit from Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah, the event serves as an annual spotlight on the best in filmmaking around the world, from emerging voices to established names debuting highly anticipated new projects. Celebrating its 40th anniversary last year, the line-up remains as stacked as ever with no shortage of stars to be on display throughout the festival from January 23 to February 2.




The 2025 Sundance program includes 86 feature-length projects, 36 of them represent the filmmakers’ directorial debut. These titles include some of the most promising and talked-about films competing in all categories including the US Drama & Documentary Competitions, World Cinema Dramatic & Documentary Competitions, and NEXT.
