Rick and Morty Season 8 Teaser Trailer Promises the Return of Jerry

What happens in the teaser for Season 8 of Rick and Morty?

The new promo doesn’t give much away for the new season, but it does see several characters testing out to be the new Jerry. At the end of the clip, Morty and the rest of the family return and tell Rick that they will keep the Jerry they have.

Season 8 of Rick and Morty will premiere on Adult Swim sometime in 2025.

Rick and Morty has been on the air since 2013, and has become one of Adult Swim’s most successful shows of all time. The seventh season of the series was shown last October, and continued for 10 episodes. Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Roiland was fired from the series in early 2023 after being charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment, and other allegations surfaced soon after.

Roiland was later replaced as the voice of Rick and Morty, with Ian Cardone and Harry Belden taking over respectively. Other current cast members of Rick and Morty include the voices of Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, Kari Wahlgren, Echo Kellum, and more.
