A Different Man won Best Picture at the 2024 Gotham Awards, beating out the likes of Babygirl, Challengers, Anora and Nickel Boys. A Different Man’s win happened at the 2024 Gotham Awards on Monday at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

British actor Adam Pearson also received a nomination for his brilliant portrayal of Oswald, Stan Edward’s professional rival. However, Pearson ultimately lost the Outstanding Supporting Performance award to Sing Sing’s Clarence MacLaine.

Directed by Greg Koedar, Sing Sing proved to be a worthy contender for A Different Man at the 2024 Gotham Awards. The film dominated the acting categories, with Colman Domingo taking home the Breakthrough Performance award. Meanwhile, Nickel Boys’ Ramil Ross received the Best Director award at the event diverse.

The Gotham Awards, administered by the Gotham Film and Media Institute, curates its nominations slate by appointing a jury of critics, journalists and other industry professionals. The winners in each category are then determined by a completely different group of panelists.

Aside from the usual nominees, the 2024 Gotham Awards also honored a select group of Hollywood stars.
