Supergirl Cast Adds Eve Ridley to DCU Movie

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow I found Ruthye Mary Knolle, with Deadline announcing that Eve Ridley has joined the cast of the upcoming DCU film.

Ridley will join Millie Alcock and Matthias Schoenaerts in the film, with the former having been cast to play Supergirl earlier this year. Ridley is a relative newcomer, best known so far for her role in Netflix’s sci-fi series Three Body Trouble, where she plays Vera Ye.

In the comic series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow on which the upcoming film is based, Ruthye Mary Knolle is a warrior who enlists Supergirl’s help to find Krem of the Yellow Hills (played by Schoenaerts), the man who killed her father.

The film will be directed by Craig Gillespiewho is known for directing 2007’s Lars and the Real Girl, 2011’s Fright Night, 2017’s I, Tonya, 2021’s Crella, and most recently 2023’s Dumb Money.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is released in US theaters on June 26, 2026. The film will be the second feature film entry in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s upcoming filmography. Central console After Superman 2025.
