Sydney Sweeney’s The Housemaid Salary Revealed, Huge Raise for Anyone But You Star

Sidney Sweeney has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and as a result, her per-movie salary has skyrocketed, according to a new report from THR.

In a new profile on Sweeney’s rise to stardom, THR notes that the actress has seen her salary quickly increase dramatically. After appearing in the romantic comedy Anyone But You (for which she reportedly earned $2 million), THR reports that Sweeney has received $7.5 million to star in Lionsgate’s upcoming The Housemaid, where she will appear alongside Amanda Seyfried .

The jump represents a big step for Sweeney, who has quickly become one of the biggest and most recognizable names in Hollywood. While contracts are generally negotiated in advance, THR reports that due to Sweeney’s high demand, she has been able to lined up a series of high-profile films, including her next project in which she will play boxer Christy Martin.

The report also states that the payday increase is related to the fact that Sweeney received back-end earnings from anyone other than you ranging from “millions.” She was also an executive producer on the project, which earned her an additional $250,000.

Another interesting note in the report concerns Sweeney’s role in the 2024 Madame Web film. Sweeney agreed to appear in the film, according to THR, as a favor of sorts to Sony Pictures, to get the green light for anyone but you. “She wanted them to know she’s a team player,” a source told The Hollywood Reporter.
