Sylvester Stallone & Scott Eastwood Star in the Action-Packed Crime Thriller

Sylvester Stallone embarks on a treacherous mission once again. Lionsgate has released the trailer for the film warningAn action, crime and thriller film directed by Michael Polish.

Alarum is scheduled to hit theaters on January 17, 2025, and stars Scott Eastwood (Fast X) as Jo and Willa Fitzgerald (The Fall of the House of Usher) as Laura. Stallone is also leading the upcoming film as Chester.

What happens in the Alarum trailer?

The newly released trailer introduces Joe Eastwood and Laura Fitzgerald, a couple who happen to be retired assassins living under the radar. While spending their peaceful retreat, the two are thrown back into their dangerous past when they are suspected of joining a shady team of spies called Alarum. The film also stars Mike Colter (Marvel’s Luke Cage), Isis Valverde, and D.W. Moffett.

According to the official synopsis, Alarum – described as an “explosive action thriller – is about two married spies who are caught in the crosshairs of an international intelligence network that will stop at nothing to obtain important assets. Joe (Eastwood) and Laura (Fitzgerald) are two agents living off the grid.” Their peaceful winter resort is blown to pieces when members of the Old Guard suspect that the two have joined an elite team of rogue spies, known as the Alarum.

Stallone is one of the biggest names in the action genre, known for his iconic roles in the Rambo film series, Demolition Man, Cop Land, The Expendables, and the Rocky film series, among others. He most recently starred in Paramount+’s crime drama series Tulsa King.

On the other hand, Eastwood has starred in a number of films such as Enter Nowhere, Texas Chainsaw 3D, The Longest Ride, Snowden, Pacific Rim Uprising, and 1992. Meanwhile, Fitzgerald is known for her roles in TV shows like Reacher and Scream. , Little Women , and Dare Me . Her featured credits include Freak Show, Desperation Road, and Strange Darling.
