Universal Orlando Resort Sets Release Date for Holiday Celebration

Universal Orlando Resort She announced when Eid celebrations will begin. Next month, the park will host several new experiences, with some of its most popular areas transformed into holiday experiences.

Starting November 22 through December 31, 2024, Universal Orlando Resort will offer “a fun menu of festive experiences inspired by beloved characters and stories,” from Christmas-themed decorations in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to appearances by the Grinch and others.

Along with the festive festivities, Universal Orlando hotels will also be decked out in holiday decorations and other “seasonal experiences,” including things like introducing the Universal Holiday Tour and The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast.

Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure

With festive decor, garlands and twinkling lights adorning the streets of Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, guests will be surrounded by holiday magic as they explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter this holiday season. Guests can get Hot Butterbeer and enjoy holiday-themed specials by The Frog Choir, consisting of Hogwarts students and their giant frogs, in Hogsmeade, or dance along with Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley. As night falls in Hogsmeade, the “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” nighttime spectacle returns – bringing to life a spectacular display on Hogwarts Castle highlighting Christmas moments and holiday cheer inspired by cherished characters and stories from the Harry Potter films.

Grinchmas at Universal’s Islands of Adventure

Guests can enjoy a live retelling of the Dr. Seuss holiday classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” in the beloved stage show, “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.” Plus, Seuss Landing will transport guests directly to Who-ville, where they’ll be surrounded by whimsical holiday decor, enjoy special appearances from the Whos and even get a chance to take a photo with the mean guy himself – the Grinch!

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida

Beloved pop culture-inspired stories and characters from Illumination’s Despicable Me, DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar – along with treasured holiday traditions – come to life as larger-than-life balloons and colorful holiday floats during the Worldwide Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. The picturesque show concludes with a special appearance by Santa Claus and the spectacular lighting of the 80-foot-tall Christmas tree at Universal Studios Florida.

Eid celebrations don’t stop there. Guests will also be able to enjoy themed food and drinks, shop seasonal merchandise from the all-new Holiday Tribute Store, enjoy meet-and-greets with their favorite characters who are also in the holiday spirit – including fan-favorite Earl the Squirrel, and take part in the new Holiday Nutcracker Hunt Totally which will take them on a fishing trip through Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk.
