Warner Bros. has teamed up. Television and JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot studio on live-action shows like Westworld and Lovecraft Country. However, Warner Bros. will cooperate. Animation and Bad Robot to bring the character of the graphic novel, Emily is curiousto the big screen.
Exotic Emily was first seen in the early 1990s on skateboards, t-shirts, and posters. Its image has evolved into a multi-million dollar company that is ubiquitous in comics, toys, books, apparel and merchandise. In literature, the goth-inspired character appears in four HarperCollins novels, four graphic novels from Chronic Books, and a 27-issue New York Times bestselling comic book series from Dark Horse Comics. according to Delivery timeEmily the Strange will also be seen in theaters in association with Warner Bros. Animation and Bad Robot in the animation project.
It’s been a long time since bizarre Emily finally received a cinematic treatment. Originally in 2005, Fox Animation was going to make an animated film adaptation. Then in 2010, Universal was scheduled to break ground on the project. Initially, the studio cast Chloë Moretz in the title role with short film writer/director Kellan O’Rourke rewriting the project. Neither project was implemented.
In addition to Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Animation, Emily the Strange will be writing the script from Moana writer Pamela Rippon.
What makes Emily the Stranger such an iconic character?

With popular projects like Tim Burton films and Wednesday series celebrating all that is strange and unusual, Strange Emily certainly fits into this category. Vice President of Animation John Agbaje also expressed why Emily the Strange was perfect for Bad Robot:
