YouTube Star Ms. Rachel Calls Out Barack Obama Over Gaza Remarks 💬🌍

YouTube Star Ms. Rachel Criticizes Barack Obama Over Gaza…, YouTube sensation Ms. Rachel — beloved by millions of parents and toddlers for her educational videos — is stepping into the political spotlight after publicly criticizing former U.S. President Barack Obama for what she described as “dehumanizing language” in his recent statement on the war in Gaza.

The viral content creator, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, posted an open letter on Instagram directed to Obama, calling out his phrasing that mentioned “Israeli families” but only referred to “the people of Gaza.”

“Dear President Obama,” she wrote. “I saw in your statement that you said ‘Israeli families’ and ‘the people of Gaza.’ Palestinians have families too. This kind of language contributes to dehumanization. Dehumanization is part of the reason so many remain silent as 20,000 children were killed in this genocide. I have sat with wonderful Palestinian families from Gaza. They look at their children just like ours — with all the love and hope in the world. Love, Ms. Rachel.”

In the caption accompanying her letter, Rachel added:

“I’ve always looked up to you, @BarackObama. I don’t understand why so many statements don’t seem to view Palestinians as equals. All people and all children are equal and deserve the same human rights.”

Her post quickly went viral, amassing thousands of comments and sparking a wave of praise and debate across social media. Many fans applauded Ms. Rachel for using her platform to advocate for empathy and equality, especially given her influence in early childhood education.

While Obama has yet to respond to her remarks, the criticism echoes similar reactions from Palestinian and human rights voices. Among them were Palestinian-American lawyer Noura Erekat, who wrote:

“The ‘people’ of Gaza are Palestinians. They’ve survived genocide and an ongoing attempt to erase them for over a century.”

And poet Musab Abu Toha, who added:

“‘People of Gaza’? No families in Gaza? No Palestinian families who Israel wiped out? Are you even watching any news?”

With her heartfelt message, Ms. Rachel joins a growing list of public figures using their platforms to call for more humane and balanced discourse on Gaza — a move that continues to reshape how celebrities and influencers engage with global issues.
