New version of code He appears in a video to promote the upcoming Zombie marvel series.
Marvel Zombies is a new series from Marvel Animation arriving in October 2025. It is part of the zombie-focused What If… series…? An episode from the first season of the anthology series, TV-MA, directed by Brian Andrews and written by Zeb Wells.
Marvel has released a video highlighting a number of upcoming Disney+ series, including Marvel Zombies. In the video, there’s a brief glimpse that gives fans a look at a new version of Blade wearing some armor similar to Moon Knight’s.
It’s not immediately clear if Mahershala Ali will voice the character Blade in Marvel Zombies.

What else do we know about Marvel Zombies?
Along with Blade, Marvel Zombies will feature Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani. The series will also include recurring characters Hawkeye, Captain America, Kate Bishop, Wanda Maximoff, Red Guardian, Captain Marvel, Yelena Belova, and more.
Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum previously said IGN About the series, “In terms of more mature animation, yeah, we’re now making a Marvel Zombies show which is a very intense show and it’s definitely a TV-MA show. And again, it’s trying to pay homage to the comics. And the great thing about the comics is that they’re not functional. And that’s Definitely what we are aiming for in this project as well.
It was announced in 2019 that Ali would play the titular character in the MCU reboot Blade. While Ali’s voice will be heard at the end of 2021 in Eternals, Ali still has not played the character in live-action yet as the project has faced repeated delays. It was recently removed from the Marvel calendar and there is no release date for the film at the moment.
