Daniel Craig Hopefully Netflix will let Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, aka Knives out 3To play in cinemas for more than a week.
Craig first played Detective Benoit Blanc in 2019’s Knives Out, which was distributed by Lionsgate and received a proper, full theatrical release in November 2019.
Netflix has acquired the distribution rights to the sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The company gave the film a one-week theatrical run in November 2022 before adding it to the streaming service the following month. To date, Glass Onion is the widest release Netflix has ever made.
Netflix is also launching the third film in the Knives Out series, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The film is expected to be released in 2025, although Netflix has not yet announced how it will be released.

“Hopefully Netflix will put it out there a little bit, and people will be able to see it,” he said. “The people I talk to – the fans, I guess – all they want to do is take their families and go see it in the cinema. That’s all they want to do. Hopefully we can give them that experience.”
Along with Craig, Knives Out 3 stars Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden. Rian Johnson, who directed Knives Out and Glass Onion, is back to write and direct the new film.
