Sweetpea Season 2 Set, Plot Details Revealed for Ella Purnell-Led Series

Starz has officially announced that he will be there Sweet peas Season 2, a renewal of the thrilling revenge series led by Ella Purnell for another year.

What do we know about Sweetpea season 2?

According to Starz in a news statement (via The Hollywood Reporter ), Season 2 of Sweetpea will pick up where the first left off and “will see Rhiannon Lewis (Purnelle) return for revenge as her deadly secret continues to escalate and she becomes more twisted than ever.”

In a statement about the renewal, star Ella Purnell said playing the character was a “career highlight,” and she’s excited to get back into it and show fans what’s next.

“Being a part of Rhiannon’s next journey into rage has been the highlight of my career, and seeing fans interacting with and relating to the bizarre Rhiannon, in all her complexities, feels truly special,” said star and executive producer Burnell. “I can’t wait for the audience to see what she does next.”

Currently, any further information about Season 2 of Sweetpea is unknown, other than Purnell’s return to the series.

“Rhiannon Lewis doesn’t make much of an impression — people pass by her on the street without giving her a second glance,” Sweetpea’s official synopsis reads. “She’s constantly being passed over for a promotion at work, the man she loves won’t commit, and her father is really sick. Then everything in her life is turned upside down. Rhiannon is pushed over the edge and loses control. Suddenly the upholstered flower is gone, and in her place is a capable young woman.” Will Do Anything… Rhiannon’s life is transformed when she steps into an intoxicating new power, but can she keep her killer’s secret?

Sweetpea is led by Ella Purnell (Fallout) as Rhiannon, and also stars Nicole Leckey (Sense8) as Julia, John Pointing (Big Boys) as Craig, Calam Lynch (Bridgerton) as AJ, and Leah Harvey (Foundation) as Marina, Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso) as Norman, and Dustin Demery Burns (Slow Horses) as Jeff.
