ASAP Rocky has just reminded the world that fatherhood is front and center in his life.
During a recent interview with complicatedthe Harlem rapper and fashion icon was asked what his favorite creation was this year, and his answer had nothing to do with music, fashion, or business. According to Rocky, his daughter, Rocky Irish, is the best thing he has been involved with in 2025. Rocky shares his daughter with Rihanna, who gave birth last month.
“My daughter. This is my favorite thing I’ve made this year,” Rocky said. “Shout out to Rocky Irish, man.”
The 36-year-old and Rihanna have expanded their growing family following the birth of their sons RZA and Riot. While Rocky teases new music, heads up creative campaigns, and builds his design footprint, he makes it clear that fatherhood still trumps everything else in his world.
Rocky recently announced the launch of his new PUMA collection, which is now available at select retailers worldwide, including Complex Shop. The collection is one of his most ambitious drops since taking over the role of creative director of Puma’s F1 division in 2023, and is a perfect blend of the brand’s classic sportswear with the Harlem native’s luxurious flair from Rocky.
The capsule features everything from floor-length faux fur coats to layered mechanical T-shirts splashed with colorful Puma, AWGE and “Don’t Be Dumb” logos. Animal prints such as python and leopard dominate the collection, a nod to Rocky’s latest muse: Jungle musica style of jazz that was popular in the 1920s and 1930s, mostly linked with Special Harlem Duke Ellington.
