new Captain America: Brave New Worldalso known as Captain America 4, teases the return of the Captain, played by Tim Blake Nelson.
Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World will be released in US theaters in February 2025. Directed by Julius Oña, the MCU film sees Anthony Mackie reprise his role as Sam Wilson/Captain America.
Marvel Entertainment has now shared a new special look video for Captain America 4, which can be watched below (watch more clips and trailers):
What happens in the Captain America: Brave New World video?
The Captain America 4 video includes footage of Mackie’s Wilson, Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross/Red Hulk, Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres/Falcon, and more. At one point, Nelson can be heard saying: “Captain America. You don’t even know what this is.” A silhouette of a man who appears to be Nelson also appears in the trailer, though it doesn’t reveal the leader’s new appearance.
Nelson previously played Samuel Sterns/The Leader in the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk.
Holz’s representative previously said Comic book On returning to the MCU for Captain America: Brave New World, “I had a great time filming it, and [I] I worked with the Marvel team and this amazing makeup artist named David Atherton who I’ve collaborated on dozens of movies with now… I think people are going to be very excited about what this guy looks like. What he says and what he does. All power to the amazing team over there at Marvel.
The Captain America 4 synopsis reads: “Anthony Mackie returns as high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who has officially taken up the mantle of Captain America. After meeting with newly elected US President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the cause behind a nefarious global conspiracy.” Before the real mastermind can make the entire world see red.
Captain America: Brave New World will be released in US theaters on February 14, 2025 from Marvel.
