Halle Bailey is preparing to release her debut album.

On Wednesday (October 8), the 25-year-old posted a teaser clip on her social media accounts announcing her debut album, love? Or something like that.

In the short video, Billie appears in the dark wearing a voluminous, frilly red dress.

“Once upon a time, there was a little girl who believed in love. She believed that everyone belonged to someone,” she says in the voiceover. “So all she wanted in life was to find the truest form of love. Was that even possible? And that’s what happened.”

The caption read: “A story of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after. Out 10/24. This story means everything to me.”

This year saw Billie’s legal battle with the former CEO make headlines over custody of their one-year-old son, Hello. In August, the judge ordered both parties to avoid posting about the child on their social media accounts.

Billie has been mostly quiet on the musical front in 2025, possibly due to her romantic comedy filming schedule. Italian Where she will play the starring role opposite Regé Jean Page. Still, the singer dropped singles “Back and Forth” and “Braveface” earlier this year.
