What did Paul W. S. Anderson say about his movie House of the Dead?
Anderson said: “We will base the film on House of the Dead 3, and if you know the mythology that revolves around family conflict, amid the events and fears.” “It’s about a woman named Lisa Rogan, who’s trying to save her father. It’s also about Daniel Corrin, who is the son of the man who caused this mutant outbreak in the first place and who has to deal with the sins of his father.
Anderson also explained how The House of the Dead will be different from the films in the Resident Evil series.
“This is a complete terror ride. It’s different from what we did with Resident Evil, where there were a lot of traps and puzzles and things to figure out. At its core, House of the Dead is a light rail shooter, so it pulls you right into the middle of the action. “I’m going to make a movie that reflects that approach and plays out in real time, bringing the audience right into the action. It won’t be weighed down by a whole bunch of backstory that might alienate people who don’t know anything about House of the Dead. Everyone will be on the same page.”
