In Severance, Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a separation procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This bold experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of a dark mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and himself. In Season 2, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of tampering with the separation barrier, leading them to further woes.

Season 2 of Severance will see Adam Scott return to his role as Mark Scout. The cast also includes Lauer as Hailey Riggs, Trammell Tillman as Seth Melchik, Zach Cherry as Dylan George, Gene Tullock as Devon Scout Hale, Michael Chernus as Ricken Hale, DeShane Lachman as Mrs. Casey, and John Turturro as Irving Beliff, and Christopher Walken. as Burt Goodman, and Patricia Arquette as Harmony Coble.
Sarah Bock, Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, Merit Wever, Alia Shawkat, Robbie Benson, Stefano Caranante, Olafur Darri Olafsson, and John Noble have also joined the cast of the new season.
