Taylor Swift Addresses Speculation She Turned Down Super …

Taylor Swift Denies Super Bowl Halftime Show Speculation 🎤🏈

Taylor Swift Addresses Speculation She Turned Down Super …, Taylor Swift has addressed rumors suggesting she turned down the Super Bowl Halftime Show over a dispute regarding ownership of “performance footage.”

Appearing on The Tonight Show on Monday, Swift clarified that these claims are not an accurate reflection of the discussions her team has had with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation — which has managed the Super Bowl Halftime Show since 2019.

“No, no. That’s not what happened,” Taylor explained. “Jay-Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are very close. Sometimes they call me and say, ‘How do you feel about this?’ But it’s never been a formal show issue… I love a man who plays this sport on this actual field. This is violent chess, gladiators without swords. It’s dangerous. All season long, I’ve been preoccupied with what he’s doing on the field.”

Swift continued, “Can you imagine if he was out there every week, putting his life on the line in such a high-stress, high-intensity sport, and I’m worried about choreography? This has nothing to do with Travis. He’s supportive of everything I do.”

The Travis she references is Kansas City Chiefs star — and three-time Super Bowl champion — Travis Kelce. The couple announced their engagement in August with a playful Instagram post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Looking ahead, Bad Bunny will take the Super Bowl stage next, confirming he received the official go-ahead from Jay-Z while mid-rehearsal.

Meanwhile, fans can catch live performances from top artists like Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, and more at ComplexCon Las Vegas, returning October 25–26, 2025. Over 300 brands and experiences await attendees — tickets are available now.
