Netflix has officially revealed the release date of the film Recruiter Season 2 with a slew of first images showing the return of Noah Centineo as CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks.
Season 2 of the spy thriller is set to put Centineo’s Owen Hendricks in another dangerous situation, this time in South Korea. It will pick up after the cliffhanger ending of the first season.
“He has just witnessed Max — a former CIA employee who nearly died several times while trying to protect him — being shot by her daughter, Nika. “Owen is wondering how the hell he is going to survive the next few seconds of his life,” Centineo said. Todom.
When is The Recruit Season 2 released?
Season 2 of The Recruit is scheduled to hit the streamer on January 3, 2025, more than two years after the first season debuted in 2022. Season 2 was supposed to premiere early, though it was delayed due to Hollywood strikes.
Centineo will be joined by Past Lives star Teo Yoo as The Recruit newcomer Teo Yoo. The award-winning actor will play Jang Keun Kim, a skilled South Korean NIS agent “with a subversive sense of humour.”
Nathan Fillion, who made a guest appearance in season one, also returns as CIA Director Alton West.

In addition to Centineo, returning cast members also include Artie Mann as Violet, Colton Dunne as Lester, Vivel Stewart as Hannah, Christian Brun as Janus Ferber, Kayla Zander as Amelia Salazar, Vondie Curtis Hall as Walter Niland, And Daniel Quincy Anoh as Terrence. Maddie Hasson as Nishka Lashin, Jesse Cullen as Dodge, and Angel Parker as Dawn.
The cast of season 2 includes Young Ah Kim, Felix Solis, James Purefoy, Shin Do Hyun, Sanghee Lee, Omar Maskati, Brooke Smith, Devika Bhise, and Alana Holly Purvis.
True to the show’s tagline, The Recruit revolves around Owen Hendricks, a young CIA lawyer whose first week on the job is turned upside down when he discovers a threatening letter from former asset Max Meladze (Laura Haddock), who plans to expose the agency unless they do so. She was acquitted of a serious crime. Owen soon becomes embroiled in a dangerous and often absurd world of power politics and malicious players, as he travels the world in hopes of completing his mission and leaving a mark on the CIA.
All episodes of The Recruit Season 2 will arrive on Netflix on January 30.
